Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of RankBidr, including the leaderboard, product listings, bids, sponsorships, checkout, and related features. By using the service or completing payment, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

What RankBidr provides

RankBidr is a paid product directory and public leaderboard. Every successful payment of at least $2 creates a listing automatically. The amount paid determines the listing’s position relative to other successful payments. Higher payments rank higher, and ties are ordered by the earliest payment.

Rank and sponsor placement are paid advertising positions. They are not reviews, certifications, endorsements, investment advice, or guarantees of quality.

Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. You may submit only a website that you own or are authorized to represent. If you act for a business, you confirm that you may bind that business to these Terms.

Payments and taxes

Dodo Payments processes checkout in US dollars. Taxes may be added where required. RankBidr does not store full payment-card information. A listing or sponsorship is fulfilled only after RankBidr receives a valid payment confirmation.

Leaderboard listings

Every successful qualifying payment creates a listing, but it does not guarantee a particular rank for any length of time. Another customer may pay more and rank higher. Your payment does not guarantee traffic, clicks, customers, revenue, search-engine position, or any other result.

Sponsor placements

A sponsor purchase provides one selected placement for 30 days per unit purchased. Multiple units extend the same placement in consecutive 30-day blocks. The period begins when payment is confirmed. The placement stops displaying automatically when the purchased period ends. Sponsor inventory is limited, and an unavailable slot cannot be purchased.

Refunds

Paid digital placement begins immediately after payment confirmation. Payments are generally final once a listing or sponsorship has been activated. Being outranked, receiving fewer clicks than expected, changing your mind, or removal for violating these Terms does not create a refund right. We will provide refunds when required by applicable law or when RankBidr cannot deliver the purchased service.

Listing standards

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and rights associated with your submission. You must not submit malware, phishing, scams, impersonation, unlawful goods or services, intellectual-property infringement, deceptive claims, hate or harassment, sexual exploitation, or content that creates material legal or security risk.

Public metadata license

You allow RankBidr to fetch, cache, resize, and publicly display the submitted website’s name, description, favicon, logo, and related public metadata for operating and promoting the directory. This non-exclusive license lasts while reasonably needed to provide the service and maintain necessary records.

Moderation

We may reject, recategorize, hide, or remove a listing or sponsorship that violates these Terms, infringes rights, creates security or reputational risk, or is required to be removed by law. Ranking is based on verified payment amounts and is not secretly changed for editorial preference.

Acceptable use

You may not manipulate visit or click counts, interfere with the service, bypass security or rate limits, submit automated purchases without permission, scrape the service in a way that harms availability, or use RankBidr to violate another person’s rights.

Third-party destinations

RankBidr links to independently operated websites. We do not control their content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices. Visiting or purchasing from a listed website is at your own risk.

Availability and changes

The service is provided on an as-available basis. We may change features, pricing for future purchases, categories, or ranking rules. Changes do not retroactively shorten an active paid sponsorship. Temporary downtime and maintenance may occur.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, RankBidr disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability relating to a paid placement will not exceed the amount paid for that placement, except where applicable law does not allow that limitation.

General terms

Applicable law governs these Terms without removing any mandatory consumer protection that cannot be waived. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the public rules, and checkout details form the agreement for the service.
